IMPORTANT FAQ's REGARDING VACCINATION AND TESTING

Your health and safety are a priority at ISPA EXPO. We have been adapting our plans based on new and evolving information through the recommendations of Orange County, the state of Florida and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

What is CrowdPass?

CrowdPass is a third-party health clearance service being utilized by ISPA EXPO. ALL EXPO ATTENDEES MUST upload proof of their COVID-19 vaccination, OR a negative test result (administered by a third party within 48 hours of arrival) to CrowdPass prior to arriving on-site at ISPA EXPO.

Is CrowdPass free?

YES

What do I do if I am having issues uploading my information to CrowdPass?

Is it safe to share my personal information with CrowdPass?

Yes, CrowdPass adheres to a strict privacy policy.

If I have already verified my COVID-19 vaccination status or negative COVID-19 test results with another event using CrowdPass, do I need to do it again?

Yes. You need to complete the steps in CrowdPass for every event.

Will there be alternate verification options before arriving onsite?

No. Attendees are required to submit proof of vaccination or negative test results to CrowdPass. If you have not uploaded your proof of vaccination or negative test results before you arrive onsite, you will be asked to do so before proceeding to registration or you may opt to take a test on site, for a fee.

What if I do not have a vaccination card or a negative test prior to going onsite?

Attendees will be able test onsite for a fee of $20.

Are there exceptions to the requirements, COVID-19 vaccine or negative COVID-19 test, for attendees?

No. All attendees must have either proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test result from a third party dated no more than 48 hours prior to picking up their badge. Attendees can receive a COVIC-19 test onsite for a fee of $20.

Do you accept religious or medical waivers for the COVID-19 vaccine?

NO. ISPA EXPO only permits those attendees who have been fully vaccinated or show proof of negative COVID-19 test results within the past 48 hours. ISPA EXPO utilizes the Centers for Disease and Prevention Control’s definition of fully vaccinated.

Can I pick up badges for my coworkers if I have their approved confirmation email from CrowdPass?

No. You may only pick up your own badge and may be asked to show ID.

What vaccinations are approved?

ISPA EXPO utilizes the Centers for Disease and Prevention Control’s definition of “fully vaccinated.”
Three COVID-19 vaccines are authorized or approved for use in the United States to prevent COVID-19:

  • Pfizer-BioNTech (2 shots required)
  • Moderna (COVID-19 mRNA vaccines) (2 shots required)
  • Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 (1 shot required)

What is considered "fully vaccinated"?

For purposes of its protocols, ISPA EXPO utilizes the Centers for Disease and Prevention Control’s definition of “fully vaccinated”.

 

What tests are approved?

Tests must be administered by a third-party and can be a molecular test, nucleic acid amplification test [NAAT], RT-PCR, TMA, LAMP, NEAR, HDA or antigen test). Antibody or serological tests will not be accepted. Documentation may be paper or electronic copy and must include the name and contact information for the laboratory or healthcare personnel who performed the test.

Can I be tested for COVID-19 on-site?

Yes. Those who do not provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or negative test result prior to arriving may be tested on site. COVID-19 testing will be administered for a $20 fee and may take 60 minutes or more depending on crowds.

Do I need to test onsite more than once?

No. Once you receive your badge, you do not have to test again. EXPO participants should be vigilant in monitoring their health. If they experience any COVID-19 symptoms, or recently have been in close contact with someone who with COVID-19, do not attend.

What if I test positive onsite?

You will be asked to leave and will be refunded your registration fee. You may choose to consult your healthcare provider. CDC has updated isolation and quarantine recommendations for the public.

What do I do if I begin having COVID-19 symptoms while at EXPO?

Do not attend any EXPO related events or visit the show floor. EXPO participants should be vigilant in monitoring their health. If you experience any COVID-19 symptoms, or recently have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19, do not attend.

What do I do if I am exposed to COVID-19 while at ISPA EXPO?

Do not attend ISPA EXPO or any of its events. CDC has updated isolation and quarantine recommendations for the public.

What if I don’t want to test onsite and prefer to go elsewhere once I am in Orlando, FL?

You will be asked to upload your negative test results once received by the local third-party lab. A list of local pharmacies will be available on site COVID-19 testing is also available at the following locations: CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens Pharmacy.

Will CrowdPass or ISPA EXPO help me test again for international departure?

No. On-site testing is only for event attendees upon arrival. Should you require a COVID-19 test before leaving Orlando to your destination, CareSpot offers standard PCR testing acceptable for airline travel.

The CDC encourages you to plan ahead:

  • Check the current COVID-19 situation at your destination.
  • Follow all requirements of conveyance operators (such as airlines, cruise lines, buses) as well as any requirements at your destination, whether traveling by air, land, or sea, including mask wearing, proof of vaccination, testing, or quarantine. Requirements may differ from U.S. requirements. If you do not follow your destination’s requirements, you may be denied entry and required to return to the United States.

Are masks required at ISPA EXPO?

No. Although not required, regardless of vaccination status, masks are recommended for anyone attending the event.
