ISPA EXPO 2020 is proceeding as scheduled. The U.S. government travel restrictions implemented on January 31, 2020 that prohibit foreign nationals (non-U.S. citizens) who have visited China in the past 14 days from entering the United States remains in effect.  Several Chinese-based exhibitors have decided not to participate in EXPO. The absence of these China-based exhibitors is expected to have a limited impact on EXPO 2020 because the vast majority of EXPO exhibitors and attendees are from North America.

ISPA’s top priority is the health and safety of all EXPO participants, including attendees, exhibitors, vendors, staff, industry partners, and others involved in the show. ISPA is closely monitoring coronavirus developments and will communicate any show updates via the ISPA Insider, the EXPO website and direct email.

ISPA is working closely with the convention center and, following the advice of the World Health Organization and the CDC, putting plans in place that will add safety measures to protect the health and wellbeing of EXPO participants. This includes placing extra sanitation stations throughout the show floor and distributing personal hand sanitizers to attendees and exhibitors. Attendees will see reminders about how to stay healthy while attending the show and travelling throughout the center. We encourage all show participants to stay informed about basic wellness measures they can take. Please visit the World Health Organization’s information page.

ISPA remains in close communication with the city of New Orleans Health Department, which is monitoring the situation and has informed us that no cases of the coronavirus have been reported to date in New Orleans or the state of Louisiana. We look forward to seeing you at ISPA EXPO.
